On September 19, 2023, Hunan Dorun Intelligent and the port of Dulata, XinJiang signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Xinjiang. Mr. Xu Maocun, Chairman of Dorun Intelligent, attended the signing ceremony. 
Dorun Intelligent will establish a remote R&D center in Xinjiang, build an intelligent display platform, and invest in independent research and development of water IOT hardware equipment production lines. This strategic cooperation agreement with Dulata Port will bring more opportunities and support to Dorun’s rapid development in the field of smart water. 
At the signing ceremony, both parties stated that through the establishment of this strategic partnership, both parties will give full play to their respective advantages and resources, explore and build smart water digital solutions based on the refined operational needs of water companies.

From August to September this year, Chairman Xu went to Xinjiang for an on-site inspection and listened to the on-site staff’s introduction to the local water use situation. Chairman Xu shared some insights on water meter leakage, water resource utilization and other issues. Due to global water shortages and the development of “smart city” projects, the demand for smart water meters is also growing. On one hand, smart water meters can help water companies effectively manage pipe networks, reduce water losses, and improve operational efficiency. On the other hand, they also help the end users accurately measure water consumption. They are gradually replacing traditional water meters in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. This is particularly important for water-scarce areas like Xinjiang, and has been recognized and affirmed by local leaders.
